The N4C project started on with kick-off 13-15 May 2008. In N4C PLAB is assigned to develop a business plan for the network and the test bed with the applications.

Rural Wins, was an IST project which aimed at developing a Road Map for ICT and Broadband in Rural Areas (Rural Wins, contract IST-2001-39107). Power Lake AB was contracted in the Rural Wins consortium (2002-2003) with responsibility to develop business models for broadband and broadband services in rural areas.
